You Are Invited to Our Annual Celebration of Automotive Excellence

Just once a year the cream of historical automotive beauty, innovation and engineering are curated into multiple classes and placed on display at a stunning outdoor venue.

Sunday morning, September 20, 2015, 200+ amazing classic automobiles will be inspected and judged by a team of experts for adherence to original specifications, attention to detail, and loving care of their restoration. The judging results are then presented in the afternoon as the winning autos are recognized in the Parade of Excellence. As they take their honorary drive in front of you they are awarded their coveted Palos Verdes Concours D'Elegance crystal trophies to the sound of the gallery's cheers. Will your favorites of the day chosen? There's only one way to know.

Just once a year. You should be here. Mark your calendar. Bring your friends and family.

A New Home for a Palos Verdes Institution

The Palos Verdes Concours D'Elegance has changed venues multiple times over the years since getting its start at the Ladera Linda soccer fields and Palos Verdes Peninsula High School football field more than 22 years ago. The event was held many times at the former Ocean Trails Golf Club, and then at Rolling Hills Country Club and back to what became Trump National. 2015 marks our first time at Los Verdes, which is in Rancho Palos Verdes—a marvelous venue tremendous views of the Pacific Ocean and excellent amenities for our guests.

For the benefit everyone who has enjoyed the Concours at Trump National during the past eight years, the primary reason for the change is the scheduling of a PGA tournament at Trump National that conflicts with our show. Trump National has been a great host and we wish the organization the best of luck with their tournament.

Los Verdes Golf Course offers us a tremendous location to continue our world class Concours, right in the heart of Palos Verdes. The 23rd Annual Palos Verdes Concours D'Elegance is going to be our most fun show yet, and we are very excited by what we see at our new home. Lots of advantages, rolling green lawns to stroll on amongst the beautiful autos, and stunning views of the same Pacific Ocean that we've grown used to enjoying.

Speaking for the Board of Directors and all the volunteers that aid in this not-for-profit, charitable event each year, we look forward to seeing you in September at Los Verdes Golf Course. Come out and support this unique annual event that helps make Palos Verdes such a special place.

Tour D'Elegance—Saturday Morning's Fun Run

terranea_aerial_2256_bright.jpg

The 2015 Tour D'Elegance will be designed to enable more Concours entrants to enjoy the event with their beautiful automobiles. Number One: There is a Concours competition on Sunday morning. So our Saturday driving event will be a Breakfast-Drive-Luncheon event to give our entrants plenty of time to have some relaxing fun and get their autos prepped for judging. Number Two: Autos that are 40-, 50-, 60 plus-years old benefit from good roads and non-race conditions, so we will feature fewer games and challenges, and focus on a non-timed drive that showcases the beauties of the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

It's going to be a full morning of fun, food and drinks (after the drive), and most of all the sharing of cool and significant autos with people that love them. So participate for the fun and camaraderie. Come to share your prize possession Concours classic with fellow auto enthusiasts. Bring your hot rod, exotic, or come with your Toyota Camry to see some amazing autos; not in a museum or parked on a grassy sward, but with motors running and driving with them around the equally beautiful peninsula of Palos Verdes.
