2011 Tour d'Epicure Road Rallye

The 2011 Road Rallye honored our Grand Marshall artist Guy Buffet who had created an original painting that was the official Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance art.

The Rallye started at the Banning Residence Museum in Wilmington. Guests were invited to arrive at 12:00 noon for a French Picnic Lunch and a tour of the new museum, "Moving Forward," a fascinating look at the changing world of transportation.

The Rallye begin at 2:00, a beautiful tour of the Palos Verdes Peninsula with three Rallye Stops. A wooden artists box held the instructions for the Rally and included paints and brushes. Great surprises were in store for everyone who participated.

The Rallye ended at the Palos Verdes Golf Club with a great reception. Prizes were awarded for the Timed Rallye, Trivia Contest, and a special art award.

Guests were encouraged to dress as characters from Guy Buffet's artwork.
