Surrounded by the Beach Cities of the South Bay and the Harbor Cities, the Palos Verdes Peninsula rises up out of the Pacific Ocean. Those in the area often call it simply "The Hill". On Saturday September 14th this year it's going to be Hill on Wheels! We're rumbling through Palos Verdes on our annual Road Rallye, and you're invited!
The roots of what now form the cities on the Palos Verdes Peninsula were laying their roots during The Age of Elegance. We want to explore those roots.
We are planning the route now. Checking the miles. Setting the times. It's Rallye time!
This year's Palos Verdes Concours D'Elegance Road Rallye will once again take advantage of the wonderful beautiful ocean views surrounding the Peninsula. Along the approximately 2-hour timed drive we'll have some fun, a few brain teasers and some interesting sights and stops, including special access to the Point Vicente Lighthouse.
We had a great luncheon last year at Rolling Hills Country Club, so that location will once again serve as our starting point. We'll also end the Rallye once again at the Palos Verdes Golf Club where we we'll witness the Helicopter Golf Ball Drop for Prizes.
As always, this is a Pleasure Rallye, so all beginners and experienced Rallye participants are encouraged to join the fun. Hot rods, exotics, classics, or even the family Suburban are welcome, so enter that Prius (spend a buck or two on gas) and enjoy a great day of driving and exploring fun.
Entering the rally includes lunch and the Grand Marshal's reception at no extra charge! Everyone needs one or more back seat drivers, so invite some guest passengers at just $95 per person to join the Rallye fun and the Grand Marshal Reception. Guest Passengers under 12 years old ride for FREE, so bring the youngsters if you like!
This year's Pleasure Road Rallye is a full afternoon and evening worth of fun, and a great way to get revved up for Sunday's Concours!

Remember: this year's Road Rallye participants get to stay for the evening's Helicopter Golf Ball Drop for Prizes, and the Grand Marshal Reception to be held at the Palos Verdes Golf Club. The Reception is a hosted beer, wine & champagne reception; a $75 value included with the Road Rallye.
