Masters of Ceremonies
Ed Justice, Jr.
Ed Justice, Jr. was born into the automotive world. His family's history in the world of auto racing runs as deep and rich as the sport itself.
From an early age, Ed was exposed to the greatest icons of the automotive and racing industry. His family has sponsored cars that have won the Indy 500, the first Southern 500 and every other major race around the globe. Ed’s dad and uncles, the Justice Brothers, became the first sponsors in NASCAR during their time living in Florida.
A well-known member of the media, he has been heard on the radio airwaves over the years on Road & Track radio, Car and Driver radio, Motor Trend radio and The Drive, along with appearances on MSNBC and other media outlets. Ed holds the honor as the only radio host winner of the MPG Dean Batchelor Best of the Year award.
He is also a motorsports photographer and automotive book publisher and President and CEO of Justice Brothers, Inc.
Dave Kunz is a 25-year-plus employee of ABC7, and became the Eyewitness News Automotive Specialist in 2001. His job makes ABC7 the only station in Southern California with a dedicated reporter covering automobiles and related topics.
Growing up in the San Fernando Valley, Dave always gravitated toward the Southern California car culture that was all around him. His television career started in an unusual way, however. Dave was offered a “temporary, part-time job” at KABC-TV while in college as a business major. That part-time job turned into a lengthy career in broadcasting.
Eventually Dave was able to merge his work in television with his passion for things with wheels, and now gets to experience just about anything that runs on gasoline (or increasingly, clean new cars that don’t use any), and bring them to viewers in both Southern California and around the country.
Dave is a member of both the Motor Press Guild and the Society of Automotive Historians. He also volunteers as an emcee at local automotive events such as the San Marino Motor Classic, the Greystone Mansion Concours d’Elegance, the Rodeo Drive Concours, the Automotive Fine Art Society’s Pebble Beach Exhibition, and the Art Center Car Classic.
Dave spends his free time with his wife Suzanne, who helps him keep a small collection of classic cars in (usually) running order.
